Construction: The body of the coat is knit flat and seamlessly from the top down for the hoodless version and with just one seam at the top of the hood for the hooded version (a seamless hood solution is suggested).
Stitches are picked up along each side edge and hood to work woven basket stitch band in one piece. The sleeves are knit in the round. Optional pockets can be added.

- US 10 / 6mm circular needles or size needed to get stockinette gauge.

- For the 2T-3T and 3T-4T sizes, hooded version, I recommend using circular needles at least 40-inch (100cm) long to accommodate all the stitches when working front band.
