Skills required: long-tail cast on, knitting, purling, increasing, decreasing, picking up stitches, yarn over, knitting in the round, binding off.

Construction: This shrug is knit seamlessly from the top down to the underarms. The back stitches are then worked together with stitches picked up along each front raglan and the cast-on edge to form the body and collar in one circular piece, which is worked in the round. Sleeves are worked in the round.
