Construction: This cardigan is knit seamlessly from the top down to the armpits. The back stitches are then worked together with stitches picked up along each front raglans to form the body in one piece.
Short rows are worked to shape the front edges. Sleeves are worked in the round.

Gauge:
18 stitches and 26 rows = 4 inches in stockinette
Needles:
US8 or 5mm double-pointed needles or size needed to get stockinette gauge (for sleeves)
US4 or 3.5mm double-pointed needles (for I-cord ties.)
US8 or 5mm circular needles or size needed to get stockinette gauge (for body).
Note: body of garment is not knit in the round. However, circular needles are needed because they hold all the stitches easily and because of their flexibility.
