Still Woods: Herringbone Stitch

This tutorial corresponds to the herringbone stitch used for front band of the Still Woods knitting pattern by Frogginette Knitting Patterns.

DIRECTIONS:

Cast on an even number of stitches loosely.

Row 1 (RS): * K2togtbl, dropping only the first stitch off the left needle, ** work from * to ** until 1 st remains, k1tbl.

Row 2 (WS): * P2tog, dropping only the first stitch off the left needle, ** work from * to ** until 1 st remains, p1.

Repeat Rows 1 and 2.
