Skills required: cast on, knitting, purling, decreasing, working an easy texture stitch, working I-cord and applied I-cord (explanations provided), yarn over, three-needle bind off.
Construction: This bonnet is knit seamlessly. The front of the bonnet is knit flat, featuring an easy textured stitch; the crown is knit in the round after the back neck is finished by a three-needle bind off.
An applied I-cord and I-cord ties are worked on the neck portion, then an applied I-cord is worked around the front to cinch in the fit around the face.
