Construction: This bonnet is knit seamlessly. The front of the bonnet is knit flat, featuring an easy textured stitch; the crown is knit in the round after the back neck is finished by a three-needle bind off.
An applied I-cord and I-cord ties are worked on the neck portion, then an applied I-cord is worked around the front to cinch in the fit around the face.

Finished bonnet is approximately 10.5 (12, 12.75) inches or 26.5 (30.5, 32.5) cm around face measured from base of jaw.
Bonnet depth is: 5.5 (6,25, 7) inches or 14 (16, 18) cm.
Yarn Requirements:
Approximately 70 (90, 100) yds or 64 (82, 101) meters of worsted weight yarn.
Gauge:
18 sts x 26 rows = 4 inches or 10cm in stockinette stitch using larger needles, after blocking
20 sts x 36 rows (i.e. 18 garter ridges) = 4 inches or 10cm in garter stitch using smaller needles, after blocking
