Instagram photo-a-day: Yarnlovechallenge Day 9: Tools

February 11, 2017 in knitting, Life

Day 9 of the #yarnlovechallenge is "Tools". I'm really not a purist when it comes to needle brands. My main requirement for needles is that they be the size I need in that moment (which lets face it is rarely the case). I've been trying out all kids of organizing systems for my knitting paraphernalia and my conclusion is that I'm too lazy for any of them. I keep going back to this trusty vintage leather pouch (I think it's a clutch?) where I basically dump everything (I've removed a huge tangle of yarn before taking the photo). I have many more knitting needles gathering dust under the couch pillows and I'm forever looking for my tape measure, currently used as a fishing line by my kids (??). These clover stitch markers are my favorites, I will never use anything else. The needle gauge is essential since as I said, I can be bothered to put needles back where they belong. The calculator is handy as well when I need to figure something out on the fly. #keepingitreal #knittingtools #knitweardesigner
